Dr. Pehlivanova is a researcher within the department of Perceptual Studies and a Research Assistant Professor of Psychiatry and Neurobehavioral Sciences within the University of Virginia Health System, Department of Psychiatry & Neurobehavioral Sciences. Her research interests include personality correlates of psi beliefs and psi experiences, near-death experiences, children reporting past-life memories, after-death communications. She holds a Ph.D. in Experimental Psychology (Cognitive Neuroscience focus), an M.A. in Experimental Psychology from American University, Washington, DC, ad B.S. in Statistics. She resides in Charlottesville, Virginia.
